Salescopy & Sales Page Developer

(Full time - Remote)

Mobbo Global Resources Ltd is a payment-on-delivery e-commerce company operating across all 36 states in Nigeria, plus Ghana, Kenya, Benin, and Uganda. We're scaling fast, and our marketing team is growing to keep pace with a sales operation that can close more orders than we can currently market to. We're building out a full in-house marketing department, and this role is central to what we're building.

About the role

This role covers both copywriting and page building. You'll draft sales copies, then build those copies into a live page in WordPress and Elementor. You'll work from briefs, offers and product angles provided by our Creative Strategist.

What you'll be doing

Writing and building sales page copy and layout for our products, from first draft to live page
Building and maintaining landing pages in WordPress and Elementor, and making sure every page is fast and mobile-friendly
Setting up and testing multiple page and copy variants for A/B testing
Adding tracking pixels and conversion events for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp campaigns
Fixing bugs and layout issues quickly when something breaks
Keeping a swipe file of copy and pages that are working in the market and bringing fresh angles to the team

What we're looking for

Proven experience writing direct-response copy for e-commerce, POD, or COD businesses
Proven experience building sales pages or landing pages in WordPress and Elementor
Comfortable with basic HTML and CSS, and enough JavaScript to troubleshoot
Strong written English for a Nigerian and wider African audience, Pidgin a plus
Understands what makes someone stop scrolling, keep reading, and check out
Can take a rough brief and turn it into a finished, live page without heavy hand-holding
Fast turnaround, since pages often need to go live as soon as you are briefed

Must have

Experience writing copy or building pages for a Nigerian or African payment-on-delivery or e-commerce brand
A portfolio of writing samples and live pages you've built
Comfortable working inside WordPress and Elementor day to day, not just custom-coded sites
